Azad Foundation trains women from resource-poor urban communities to become professional and commercial chauffeurs. Trained women drivers are then provided employment with dignity through its strategic partner, Sakha Consulting Wings Pvt. Ltd. (Sakha).
Sakha is a social business enterprise that offers safe and reliable public transport solutions to urban women. It places professional women chauffeurs in families, corporate houses and in the not-for-profit sector. It also runs a women's cab business and a 'chauffeurs on call' service.
